International ambulance transport across Europe — to and from Poland
Is someone close to you in a hospital abroad? One phone call is enough. We organise the entire journey, coordinate the pickup with the hospital and match the medical team to the patient's condition.
- Available 24/7
- All of Europe
- English-speaking coordination
When families call us
Most of our international journeys start the same way: something happened far from home, and the family wants the patient back — safely and without having to organise everything themselves.
Accident or illness on holiday
A fall, a sudden illness, an operation during a trip abroad. Once the hospital allows the patient to travel, we bring them home by ambulance — with the right care on board.
Taken ill while working abroad
Many Polish patients we collect were working in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium or elsewhere when they ended up in hospital. We handle the arrangements with the facility and drive them back to their family in Poland.
Planned treatment or a return home
We also carry patients the other way — from Poland to a clinic or to relatives in another European country. A planned date, a prepared ambulance, a calm journey.
How we organise a long-distance patient transport
You don't need any medical knowledge — describe the situation in your own words and we take it from there.
-
You tell us about the case
Basic information about the patient, the pickup location, the destination and the planned date. By phone or through the form — whichever is easier for you.
-
We assess the transport needs
We establish the level of medical care required and the right crew for the route — paramedic, nurse or doctor.
-
We organise and quote
We confirm that the transport can be carried out, prepare the route and the conditions, and give you a free quote. No obligation.
-
We carry out the transport
The prepared team collects the patient — usually straight from the hospital ward — and completes the journey, caring for the patient the whole way.
-
We hand the patient over
At the agreed destination we hand the patient over to the family or the receiving facility and close the assignment.
What we provide on every international journey
- A fully equipped ambulance prepared for a long-distance route, including patients who travel lying down.
- A medical team matched to the patient — paramedics, nurses and doctors, selected case by case.
- Coordination with the hospital abroad — we agree the pickup with the ward and help sort out the discharge paperwork.
- A clear handover — to the family at home or to the receiving hospital, exactly as arranged with you.
- One point of contact — you can call us at any stage of the journey, 24 hours a day.
Example long-distance routes
A few examples of ambulance routes across Europe, with approximate road distances. Every route is planned individually.

| Frankfurt → Opole | approx. 810 km |
| Vienna → Kraków | approx. 460 km |

The price of a patient transport depends on the route, the patient's condition and the crew required. The quote is free and you receive it quickly — usually during the first phone call.
What we need for a free quote
It helps to have the following at hand — but if you don't know everything yet, call anyway. We will work it out together.
About the patient
The patient's condition and basic medical information, in your own words — what happened and how they are doing now. If a hospital discharge letter is available, that's helpful, and if not, we help arrange it with the facility.
About the journey
The pickup location and the destination (city, hospital or address), your preferred date, and a contact person — you, another family member or someone coordinating at the facility.
Assistance and insurance companies are welcome
We work with assistance companies, insurers and medical operators as a transport partner across Europe. One clearly defined service — ambulance transport of patients — with every case assessed individually and a direct line to the coordinator handling your file.
Send us the case details — patient information, pickup and destination, preferred timing, your reference number — and we will come back with feasibility and a quote. We operate 24/7 with a fleet of 8 vehicles, including fully equipped ambulances.
Frequently asked questions
Can you collect a patient directly from a hospital abroad?
Yes. We agree the pickup with the ward or the hospital's discharge team, arrive at the arranged time and take over the patient together with the documents prepared by the facility. You don't have to be on site — we keep you informed.
Will a doctor travel with the patient?
That depends on the patient's condition. We assess every case and assign a paramedic, a nurse or a doctor — or a combination — so the level of care matches the journey. You don't need to decide this yourself.
What documents do we need to prepare?
Usually the hospital discharge letter and basic medical information, plus the pickup and destination addresses and a contact person. If anything is missing, we help clarify it directly with the facility.
Can a patient who cannot sit up travel such a long distance?
Yes. Our fully equipped ambulances are prepared for patients travelling lying down, and for long routes we plan the journey — including the crew and stops — around the patient's comfort and safety.
Do you also take patients from Poland to another European country?
Yes, we drive in both directions — from any European country to Poland and from Poland abroad, for example for treatment or to return to family. The process is exactly the same.
